How can I prepare for my Dermal Filler appointment?
Avoid any dental appointments or vaccinations for 2 weeks before or after your dermal filler appointment.
If you’re prone to cold sores, take prescribed prophylactic medication before your treatment to prevent an outbreak.
What is the post treatment care for Dermal Fillers?
Avoid significant movement or massage of the treated area, unless instructed by the provider.
Avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hours.
Avoid extensive sun or heat for 72 hours.
Avoid consuming excess amounts of alcohol or salts to prevent excess swelling.
If you have swelling you may apply a cool compress for 15 minutes each hour.
Do not schedule a massage or lay on your face for 2 weeks.
Wait 24 hours before applying makeup to the treated area.
Use Tylenol for discomfort.
Take Arnica to help the bruising and swelling, starting at least 2 days prior to injections.
How soon can I expect to see results from my Dermal Fillers?
Results are immediate, and they will improve over 6-8 weeks. You should expect swelling for 24-72hrs, mild puffiness can remain up to 1 week
How long do Dermal Fillers last?
Depending on the treated area, we have products that can last up to 12-24 months. Lip filler will last approximately 6-9 months.
